Our Sourcing Practices

We support farmers who raise animals in natural, healthy environments and manage their land responsibly. All of our partner farmers raise animals on pasture where they are free to roam, root, forage, graze and exercise their natural instincts. Our farmers never use hormones or sub-therapeutic antibiotics, all supplemental feeds are free of GMOs, and each and every animal is treated humanely, from birth to slaughter.

100% GRassfed Beef & LAMB

All of our beef and lamb are grassfed and grass finished. These animals have constant access to pasture and are never fed grain. In the winter months and dry seasons they feed on foraged grasses in the form of dried hay, baleage and silage. Our beef and lamb farmers oversee the breeding and feeding of their animals from birth to slaughter.

Pastured poultry

Our chickens, ducks, turkeys, guinea hens and other birds are raised with constant access to pasture. They are sheltered only from the elements and predators, and in addition to a foraged diet they are provided with non-GMO locally grown feed. The laying hens are also 100% pasture-raised and produce our supply of nutrient-dense eggs with rich, golden yolks.
