FAQs and Butcher's Club Subscription Details

 

How does the Butcher’s Club subscription work?

Using our Farmigo page, select the Butcher’s Club package that best serves your household needs and select an online payment method and billing frequency. Butcher’s Club packages will be available for pickup during designated hours at designated pickup sites on a weekly or biweekly (every 2 weeks) basis. A calendar of pickup dates is posted on our website, and you will receive a reminder email 48 hours in advance of your pickup date. Your subscription will automatically renew one week in advance of your upcoming pickup if you do not cancel or pause it through our Farmigo page within 1 week of the pickup date. All Butcher’s Club subscriptions are ongoing with automatic billing; however, you can cancel or pause your subscription through Farmigo at any time with 1 week’s notice.

How do I get my meat?

At your first pickup, you will receive an insulated reusable cooler bag. We encourage you to bring this bag with you each week when you pick up your meats. Subscriptions will be available at designated pickup points during scheduled pickup windows. Your  package of meat will contain fresh, vacuum-sealed cuts to be either cooked or transferred to your freezer within one week.

What if I get a cut I’m unfamiliar with?

Contact us via email at any time with questions about your meats. At select pickup sites, a member of the Primal Supply team will be available to answer questions about unfamiliar cuts and offer cooking tips.

What if I prefer not to get a type of meat?

We cannot individually customize Butcher’s Club packages. However, if your household has dietary restrictions, please let us know via email and we will work with you to eliminate products that don’t fit your restrictions. If you prefer to build your own order, you can make a one-time order of à la carte items in our online store and pick them up during Butchers’ Club pickup windows at specified locations.

How do I order Primal Supply products without subscribing to a package option?

You can pre-order weekly or occasional à la carte items through our online store for pickup at designated sites during the designated pickup window, even if you don’t subscribe to a package option. You can place an à la carte order through our Farmigo store as late as 10pm the night before to pick up at one of our sites on the next pickup day. We may be able to accommodate large-format or bulk special pre-orders -- email us for more information.

What if I am going on vacation and don’t want my Butcher’s Club package for a period of time?

If you are going on vacation or need to skip a pickup, you may place your account on vacation hold for as long as necessary through your Farmigo account. You must do this at least 1 week in advance of the next pickup. Your account will not be charged while your subscription is on hold.

What if I miss a Butcher’s Club pickup?

If you fail to pick up your Butcher’s Club package during your designated pickup window, we cannot hold it for you. The Butcher’s Club program assumes a commitment from week to week on the part of its subscribers, and packages are non-refundable. We recommend you ask a friend or family member to pick up on your behalf -- Butcher’s Club packages make great gifts.

 

What else do I need to know?

Signing Up

We use a web-based software platform called Farmigo to manage the Butcher’s Club subscription program. When you sign up, a secure, online member profile is created for you with your share options and your account activity. You can view and edit your account, credit card info, or password and even put your pickups and payments on hold just by signing in to your account.

Payments

We accept payments via credit card or electronic check. You can choose to pay for one or four distributions at a time, and all payments are set to automatically renew when your balance hits $0. We do not store any of your personal or financial information on our website. Our order site is run by Farmigo, and your information is stored securely by Authorize.net. For à la carte orders, members and non-members can make one-time purchases via our online store using the same payment methods.

Communications

We will communicate with you via automated Farmigo emails to remind you of a scheduled pickup or to inform you about changes or issues with your account. By becoming a subscriber of our Butcher’s Club, you agree to open and read all email communications from us.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Butcher’s Club subscription through your Farmigo account. You must cancel your subscription at least 1 week in advance of the upcoming pickup if you do not want to be charged for that package.
